Founded in 1994, STAO Garment Machinery Co. ,Ltd. is one of the few domestic companies who integrate professional design, manufacture and trading of garment machinery.  

Headquartered in Shanghai, the modern international metropolitan, STAO develops now with six companies and two specialization production bases located in Shanghai and Xiamen, business covering all over China, Europe, Southeast Asia, India, Turkey and so forth. 

STAO specializes at all kinds of garment cutting and tailoring machine manufacturing, including series of fabric spreading and cutting machines, like intelligent spreader, automatic fabric end cutter, straight knife cutting machine, bandknife, etc., series of finishing machines like ironing and also series of sewing machines for lockstitch sewing, overlock stitch, interlock, chainstitch and also multi-needle chain stitch.. .

The first generation of high-speed cloth-cutting machines invented by STAO filled up the gap of China's sewing equipment industry and was awarded "golden prize of china patent", the exclusive honor for china's cutting machines. Over a decase, STAO Cutting Machine has been dominating the Chinese market. 

The successful research and development of the third generation of intelligent cloth-cutting machine has made STAO the industry leader.

Cooperating with Great Technology INC., USA, STAO set up a manufacturing base in Xiamen specializing at researching and developing intelligent cloth-spreading machine and it passed ISO9001:2008 and was certified as Xiamen High Technology Enterprise.
